Hello everybody, 
 
Last Wednesday, the good people from The Yorkshire Brain Trust Charity, tweeted a link to their Amazon wishlist, and used the hashtag #BuyAStrangerABook. 
 
I like to keep an eye on that hashtag (understandably) and got in touch with them to say that although this wasn't quite how #Buyastrangerabook worked I would send them a couple of books from their list.
I stressed that I would NOT be using Amazon! 

Alice from YBTC got in touch and was far too sorry than she needed to be, and explained that she saw the hashtag and didn't realise it was a Big Green Bookshop thing. 
It really wasn't a big deal and actually it kinda worked out because, thanks to lovely Twitter people I was able to order five books for them. 
 
 
 
Some people got in touch to suggest that maybe the Big Green Bookshop could look after the wishlist instead, and this got me thinking.

As you can see, my website is a bit of a clunker, so it might be a tricky business for me to sort out a wishlist. 

But, I could put together a way that people can donate some dosh and I can send the Charity the books from their wishlist. 

So, here it is!

I've attached an image of the books that they're looking for. There are some that they need multiple copies of. 

As you know, we've already sent a couple of books, but I'll be donating another £50 worth of books to help them with the wishlist

If you'd like to help too, you can donate £5 (or denominations of £5) towards even more books for the Charity. 
I spoke to Alice today and she's over the moon with this.
She explained that she stuck the wishlist on Twitter because so few things had been bought off it.

So hopefully we can help out a bit!
